Team Leader, Women’s Outlook Programme, Stanhope Green, Dublin

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

The purpose of this role is to oversee case management, work closely with key stakeholders and to assist with the management and development of the Stanhope Green Service.

What you will do:

  • Work in line with the policies and procedures of the Women’s Outlook Programme, in partnership with the Irish Prison Service and the Probation Service.

  • Conduct assessments within Dóchas Women’s Prison and contribute to pre‑discharge planning with relevant agencies.

  • Apply a trauma‑informed approach, promoting safety, empowerment, and respect for lived experience.

  • Support the case management team to adhere to programme care and case management processes and protocols.

  • Provide support and monthly supervision to the case management team.

  • Prepare and deliver weekly/monthly reports and relevant statistics, ensuring accurate record‑keeping in line with legislation and Focus Ireland policies.

  • Liaise with and escalate issues to the Service Manager as they arise in individual cases.

  • Work collaboratively as part of the wider Stanhope Green Support Team to support all residents.

  • Facilitate safe, structured group work through planning, delivery, and ongoing management.

  • Participate in programme review, evaluation, development, and relevant training and team meetings.

  • Participate in the Dublin on‑call rota as required.

  • Comply with all Focus Ireland policies and undertake other reasonable duties as assigned by the Service Manager.

What you will need:

  • A Third Level qualification at degree level in the area of social care i.e. youth work, social studies, addiction, psychology, Criminology, etc and/or be a CORU registered Social Care Worker.

  • Minimum of 2 year’s direct work experience in a social care or criminal justice setting.

  • Supervisory/leadership experience.

  • Experience of needs assessment, effective support-planning, and case management models.

  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in supporting people engaged with the criminal justice system and individuals experiencing homelessness, addiction, and complex trauma.

  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Strong IT and report writing skills.
